About Rose
From San Francisco, California to North Carolina, my life has been a series of new starts and plot twists! I caught the writing bug at the age of seven when I placed second in a school-wide poetry contest. Though my life would lead me to a career in nursing, I always dreamed of becoming a writer.
After forty years in medicine, I retired and found my way back to the written word. Since 2017, I have immersed myself in learning my craft by attending classes, workshops in person and online, and writing retreats in Asheville, New York City, and Eagles Mere, PA. The writing journey has broadened my horizons and introduced me to wonderful writers and mentors along the way. At this time I am busy working on a memoir and look forward to sharing it with you upon publication.
When I’m not writing, I can be found enjoying life with my husband, family, and friends. My interests include watercolor painting, photography, swimming, reading, cooking, and beach outings.
